I wouldn't say it gor Killzoned. Ive been playing Killzone2 since yesterday(delivered by play. yes lots of people got it yesterday and today who brought online) and graphically it is better than Halo but at this stage i wouldn't say it was a better game. Both games are very different so its unfair to judge one against the other but i think Halo has more sheer fun moments and replayability in campagin. Multi player i haven't touched on Killzone yet but i have high hopes for it.
The Halo games by bungie have been great. And ones things for sure they had a huge impact and you can't ignore them.
A game set in the Halo universe could be anything. I would like to hear more on the Peter Jackson thing come to think of it.
Sounds like rubbish to me. The only time people get banned on xbox is through code of conduct... bad language, obscene gamer mottos etc. Her sexual orientation would have no relevance. Well unless in her profile she said she was a rug munching lesbo.

Its a pretty much a given its harder to develop for but with time and effort the results can be rewarding as we have seen.
Saying that i do think its a shame they didn't make it easier, then Killzone may have came out a year or so earlier and wouldn't have cost so much to make.

I agree but with reservations. I think so far he has done a great job but i have concerns about the almost religious zealotry that seems to surround him.
If he keeps his head he may prove to be a great leader but its too early to say at present.
I would say its pretty much a given the ps3 will still be in third come the end of 09 as it has so much ground to make up.
Saying that i do think it may well sell more than the 360 does this year.. if a price drop happens.

I had Killzone2 delivered from Play today. Putting it on in a bit once misses goes out. Will let you know my impression once ive done a couple of hours.
Will it overtake live... well comparing to paying live subscribers yes, it may well. If your talking non paying live suscribers then no. The console with the most sales will have more people online. Obvious.

I think it well shift units but not hugely. I really wish sony had advertised this more considering its one of there most important games this gen. A price drop at the same time would have seen sales go through the roof.
I think they dropped the ball a little. hopefully Killzone2 will get the sales it deserves but im sure with bigger marketing and a cut price it would sell double to what it probably will.
killzone looks very nice but Gears is just damn good fun with great characters. coletrain epecially has some great lines. For sheer entertainment i would go for gears2 over anything ive yet played this gen. Killzone looks better though... not by much mind and i do have yet to play the whole game of killzone so my opinion my change by the weekend. But it seems to take itself more seriously than gears.

The next xbox won't be coming until at least Nov 2011. Microsoft have pratically said that. Why would they drop the 360 when its selling more now than ever? Add to that gears3 in development for this gen which will no doubt be end of 2010 and 2011 or more likely 2012 seems resonable. And lets not go down the... because the ps3 is doing this and that. The 360 is making money and selling games. Until that changes it will be around.

I liked Uncharted but would prefer more puzzles and exploration in the next one rather than lots of shooting.
Screw thw Wii, a ps3/360 remake is what people want.
Most wii players won't touch this game or even know what silent hill is.
